CARL MAVROMICHALIS, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Carl is a driven entrepreneur, collaborator and international speaker with nearly 20 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, communications and marketing in non-profit, government, corporate and small-business environments.

He is one of Canada’s leading authority on the use of Virtual Town Halls and has completed nearly 250 events since 2011. His reputation for delivering high-quality results for clients and flawless execution lead to the Government of Alberta calling upon Carl and Converso to support the government with its outreach during the evacuation of Fort McMurray in 2016. Converso delivered a series of 17 Virtual Town Hall events in 30 days, a strategy that was heralded by evacuees themselves and news media across Canada.

In addition to Virtual Town Halls, Carl has also worked with numerous government, non-profit and corporate clients on a variety of projects, including employee engagement, eCommerce, marketing and communications.

Carl is also an active member of the board of MCIS Language Services, a social enterprise that delivers translation and interpretation services.

Carl has an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Guelph and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Ryerson University, and has received additional training in crisis communications.
